Last night we had the pleasure to hear candidate for LT. Governor John Reid speak at our monthly meeting.  In attendance were voters from Emporia, Greensville County, Sussex County, Brunswick County, Franklin, and Southampton County.  John has roots in Emporia.  His Grandparents lived here and his Grandfather was the Optometrist.  He told us stories of them and people told stories of them as well.  John covered many issues facing Virginia and what his plans are to keep this State prosperious, free, and safe.  Some of the topics discussed were boys and girls lockerooms, fiscal debt, job loss, unions, right to work, trans issues, marriage, and abortion.

What I liked most about John is his fighting spirit.  He doesn't back down and has stood up in the face of attacks and mudslinging that has come his way.  He has faced a lot of animosity and will likely face more.  I found John to be honest, forthcoming, and a true lover of this State.  I told him he won my vote when he stood up against the hate, told the truth about himself and his desire to keep Virginia strong.  He laid it all out in a video when false propaganda was spewed about him.  I love a fighter!!!!  Who doesn't.  Right?

His speaking voice is smooth and he sounds just like he did on the radio.  I used to listen to John on WRVA.  He had opposing guests on occasionally and his show was always interesting.  He always spoke up against issues like the 2020 riots and kept his listeners informed.  He spoke against the removal of the statues in Richmond.  He never kept silent on things that negatively impacted Virginians.  He goes against the grain. I like that.  We need more non politicians in office!

I think John will make a great Lt. Governor.  He is a fighter!  That has been glaringly obvious in his visit with us and in the public square.  We need people who will go ten toes down for us. I believe John will do that.  He needs our support and our vote.  I think he is the perfect person to fight for our values.  He has more events coming up soon in our area.  If you missed him Thursday night, you can see him in upcoming events!

Vote red!
